Workshop Series
with Carolyn Roach

Each month our very own Carolyn Roach will be sharing her expertise in the miniature world in an ongoing series of workshops.

Carolyn has been captivated by the world of miniatures for about 10 years and has established herself as a well known floral maker. Her creations have been featured in leading magazines and as embellishments for well known artisan doll makers.

Although Carolyn specializes in 1/12th scale flowers, she has recently forayed into the wacky world of quarter inch scale (1:48)  and 1:144 scale, creating everything from dollhouses for your dollhouses to barbeques. She also has produced a line of kits for other do-it-yourselfers.

She has been teaching workshops for the last 4 or 5 years at the Ontario Miniature Gathering as well as for individuals and clubs.

Carolyn also works in our store where samples of her product line can be seen and purchased.

Carolyn's next workshop in our store will be Geraniums in a half barrel on Wednesday, June 10th from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.

The workshop includes all the materials
needed to make the flowers, the half
barrel and the foliage.

Each student will need to bring a
#1 Philips screwdriver, tacky glue,
tweezers, foam pad for shaping petals,
toothpicks, small paintbrush 10/0,
craft knife (Exacto), container to take
the project home in.

The cost of the workshop is $30.00 (tax included) and space is limited. Register in person in the store or by phone (credit card payment). Payments are non-refundable but are transferable.
