In this class students will learn a variety of interesting techniques to construct and decorate a charming 1/12th scale miniature Gingerbread House made from polymer clay. The class will cover making the house structure, assembly and then creating a selection of candies, cookies and other decorations to cover the house. A simple "icing" technique will also be taught. Enough extra candy will be created to use on a number of other miniature projects. Both basic and advanced techniques of working with polymer clay will be covered. This little Gingerbread House would make a wonderful addition to any dollhouse, miniature bakery, Santa's workshop or Christmas vignette. It would also make a unique decoration for a full sized Christmas tree.
Items not provided but required are a small pair of tweezers, a #1 Exacto type hobby knife and a small paint brush. Please wear suitable clothing.
