Kids Club

On Thursday, July 15th we kicked off the construction of our instore N scale layout. We are using the Woodland Scenics, Scenic Ridge layout as our basis and are making a few modifications as we go along. The layout is being built by members of our Kids Club, with some advice and assistance from us, and members of the Ganaraska and Cobourg model railroad clubs. Construction will involve laying track and switches, scenery, assembly of structure kits and wiring.

The Kids Club has been meeting twice a week throughout the summer and construction will continue into the fall. Once the layout is complete (or close to it) the kids will display their work at local model railroad shows.
